Benjamin Smith is an assistant professor at Northeastern State University, at the Broken Arrow campus. Ben has presented at 4Cs, the Southwest/Texas Popular and American Culture conference, the Oklahoma Film and Video Studies Society Conference, the UCO Liberal Arts Symposium, and was an Invited Lecturer for the Oklahoma City Metro Library. He has written a chapter on comic book films in the anthology The Theme of Cultural Adaption in American History, Literature and Film: Cases When the Discourse Changed. His areas of interest include digital rhetoric, the rhetoric of history, and composition pedagogies. In his spare time, Ben is an avid musician, painter, and writer.
