Coming straight from the Juarez-El Paso frontera, Victor is a Chicanx Hip Hop head studying Rhetoric and Composition at Michigan State University. Operating from a place of conocimiento through the knowledges of Hip Hop and Chicanx Indigeneity, Victor is interested in expanding our understanding of the possibilities for Rhetorical Traditions and Histories. In this expansion, he hope to bring new ideas and applications of Writing in research and teaching. Currently Victor is working on his dissertation, "Still Tippin’: Understanding Houston Hip Hop as a Practice of Migration and Localization"
