Jodie Nicotra is Associate Professor of English at the University of Idaho. She writes about digital, material, and technoscientific rhetorics, and has essays in two forthcoming collections: Abducting Rhetorics (eds Kyle Jensen and Sid Dobrin, SIUP Press) and Rhetoric, Through Everyday Things (eds Casey Boyle and Scot Barnett, University of Alabama Press). Currently she is working on a book about the metaphorical, technological, economic, and ethical dimensions of the human-microbe relationship.
